Training Professional opening (Temporary, 4 months) on-site at Beaverton Footwear & Apparel Company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Successful trainers on our team tend to be generalists who understand the underlying technologies behind our CMS and LMS (HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON among others), but who also have a specialty (like front-end development or DB development). Development Specialists work collaboratively with Learning Design Managers to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions. So, you need to be a good consultant. 

On this training team, you have a seat at the table. In this capacity, you help set, and meet, project timelines and budget parameters. In consultation with management, you will own your work. You need to be self-directed because you will manage your own workflow and deliverables. 

As part of the training team you will also help create and maintain process, system and design documentation. Youll create, update, and maintain websites, reporting systems, and associated content and keep information current and fresh. Youll add new functionality and features as appropriate, and manage issues from site visitors. You will also help train learning administrators to use the functions that our team builds. 

You must keep current on knowledge of color, web, technical capabilities and trends. That said, as a member of the training team, youll get to work with one of the most innovative, recognized, and experienced, teams in the learning and development field - not to mention working for one of the most innovative companies in the world.

• Drupal development experience (contributed modules or contributions to core a plus)Moodle development (a plus)
• Experience developing enterprise websites, tools and work flows Enterprise technical support/response engineering experience 
• Experience using support tools and ticketing systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of website administration and management. Skilled at producing graphics for web, producing new and working with image files for web.
• Experience converting and publishing video to the web.
• Report, survey design and administration experience (building reports in SQL and developing surveys in survey tools like Qualtrics).
• Experience with Google Analytics, including implementing triggers and designing informative reports. Knowledge of social media platforms and online social community management (preferred).

Pay rate: $35-45/hourly

Length of assignment: 4+ months

Hours: 8-5pm

Job location: Beaverton, OR
