Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek CE is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with at least 3 years of experience for a growing company in Portland, OR. This is a direct placement opportunity.Purpose:You will be responsible for Process Engineer functions of precision metal formed parts and assisting business development and quoting. Responsibilities:-Estimating and quoting-Analyzes and interprets CAD files, and 3-D models-Designs tooling and fixtures with 2D and 3D computer design software -Reviews customers prints, plans and specifications for manufacturability-Evaluates manufacturing processes and tooling to make changes for improvement-Acts as a liaison between customer service, sales, customer, and manufacturing-Works with other engineers and production to determine feasibility of design and recommend design alternatives if needed-Works with suppliers, material venders, paint, powder coaters, and plating subcontractors to insure customer specifications are met -Works with quality to develop PPAP, FMEA, control plans for new products-Assists with business development-Travels to visit customers and suppliers as neededInterested and qualified candidates are encouraged to send an updated resume to Kasi Lavely.
