Job Classification: Contract Aerotek is currently seeking qualified HVAC Technicians for multiple positions at a growing company in Portland, OR. Required Qualifications:-2+ years experience in the HVAC "Service Work" (not installation)-HVAC Schooling / training required-Experience in trouble shooting gas furnaces, heat pumps, & AC.-Able to read a wiring diagram and comprehend installation, operation and service literature.- Basic reading and math skills-Be able to lift 50-75lbs daily-Detail oriented and a desire to get job done right the first time-Legible hand-writing-Operate a company vehicle safely and remain insurable-Operate power tools and hand tools safely- Project a positive and optimistic attitudeCertifications:NATE certification preferred but not mandatory. EPA Type II or higher is requiredRequired Skills:- Desire to learn and advance as an HVAC technician- Have attention to details- Take and follow direction- Sales or customer service related experience
