Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include accountability for complete project execution including working alongside the Project Management Team, Engineering resource management, safety practices, vendor/contractor management, schedule management, project finances, site management, constructability and installation support including all applicable paperwork RFI’s, COR’s, E-requests, SIPP’s, leading Whiteboard meetings etc.
  • This position requires the Leadership ability to simultaneously manage, organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities. Candidates need to possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility, along with analytical, organizational skills. PMP is preferred but not required. Management training is available in accordance with PMI/PMBOK.
  • Requires depth and fluency in engineering and project management tools including; Excel, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD. Bluebeam is beneficial, but not required. Candidates must be proficient at converting information into project documentation, and creating logs of all applicable data into an organized and efficient historical system.

Job Requirements

Sr. Project Engineer - PortlandEducation:

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineering PE is highly preferred. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is minimum requirement, but consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on additional actual project-experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum Seven to Ten (7-10) years project engineering experience involving the micro-electronics industry, plus Three to Five (3-5) year’s in a Sr. Engineering Role.
  • Experience and being comfortable in a HVM cleanroom environment is a must.

Travel:

  • Future project travel requirements may be 40 – 60%.
  • At such time, travel will be required to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings, Design Group management meetings, company sponsored training and industry related seminars, forums or conventions.
  • Initial Travel may be higher than this in order to support other regional projects.
