Responsibilities
Salesforce.com is looking for an experienced Java/Force.com Software Developer to join our Portal development team. You will be responsible for developing the backend architecture and writing highly scalable internal web applications using Java and JSP technologies for use on the corporate Portals worldwide.

Experience/Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience programming with Java and/or Force.com
• 3+ years with Java Server Pages (JSP) or Visualforce
• 3+ years experience with JavaScript (JS)
• 3+ years experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• 3+ years experience with HTML
• Strong understanding of MVC concepts
• Experience in complex data models and an understanding of various user based security models
• Expert knowledge of relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
• Expert knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST)
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience/Skills Desired

• Experience developing with Salesforce.coms Visualforce & Apex Code
• Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & APIs
• Enterprise system integration background w/ Web Services
• Understanding of Web 2.0 techniques and standards
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience (Masters preferred)
