This training may or may not occur within the DMIT’s residential city/state. Relocation after training may take place as well.
POSITION SUMMARY The District Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the operational effectiveness of a district office. The District Manager will drive and create top-line sales and deliver bottom-line profits while ensuring that business operations are conducted in accordance with RGIS guidelines. They will secure new clients, expand our service offerings to existing clients, and ensure the quality of service to consistently exceed customer expectations. Additionally, they will create and sustain a robust people development effort, as well as plan and coordinate the schedules of managers and inventory events to optimize productivity. The District Manager shall perform all such responsibilities in accordance with RGIS policies and procedures. MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- District Office – Primarily responsible for management of the operations of an RGIS district office.
- Supervision of Managerial Personnel - Manage and supervise Area Managers and ensure that support and development is provided to the Area Managers as they manage their teams.
- Personnel Staffing - Utilize all tools necessary in Scheduling Work Bench (SWB) and Oracle to ensure that the correct ASET quantity and mix is available for each event.
- Compliance – Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including compliance with all employment laws.
- Client Scheduling - Ensure that each client is scheduled according to specific parameters to allow for correct resource coverage and proficiency.
- Account Management & Sales - Attend client meetings, create procedural materials, monitor company account results, and create partnerships with clients. Drives sales with new customers and sells additional RGIS services to existing customers.
- Succession Planning – Build “bench strength" by seeking and developing managerial talent within the District while actively using the District Manager in Training (DMIT) and Area Manager in Training (AMIT) programs.
- Performance Management - Communicate expectations, mentor/ train for results, hold your district accountable, and use disciplinary measures when needed.
- Manage the day to day operations and staff of a district office.
- Assure that all RGIS LLC policies and guidelines are followed, including compliance with all employment laws.
- Drive and train productivity within the district office to achieve company standards.
- Audit and review all submitted event data and approve district time sheet data.
- Place the quality of customer service and the expectation of all clients as a top priority.
- Obtain and secure new and present clients with the purpose to expand their services.
- Develop and deliver elite teams that deliver reliable and consistent low cost superior results.
- Training of Area Managers and mentoring of newer District Managers, and DMITs in their operating group or neighboring operating groups.
- Generate profits by controlling back-office and in-store costs, including purchases, and travel expenses.
- Ensure that scheduling of client events and of personnel meets the client requirements.
- Assist the Operations Manager in the performance of the duties required for the success of RGIS LLC.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- A minimum of two years of experience in managing retail single or multi-store environments or a similar field.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Strong understanding of managing profit & loss and controlling the levers that impact P&L.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to engage in cross-functional collaboration with peers in order to share best practices, along with ability to interact with Field Support Center (FSC) departments on a variety of items.
- Ability to promote and sell RGIS services.
- Effective account management and customer service skills. Ability to respond to and react to customer issues.
- Willingness and ability to relocate throughout the United States, for increased career opportunities.
