Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for the outbound marketing activities for a family of products. The PMM translates the technical capabilities of the products into tangible customer benefits that create a value proposition for the customer that extends beyond product features. This is accomplished by having a deep understanding of the market, the competition, the purchasing criteria of the customer and their long-term business needs. In strong partnership with the Sales team, the PMM will provide this market intelligence to the Sales teams and work closely with Product Management to support product development during the marketing phases, including market requirements for new products creation.

The business development aspect of the position includes strategic business development with strategic partners to create bundles and optimize the channel Strategy with Channel Marketing and Sales regions. Assuming this role, you will develop tactical marketing plans and collateral in partnership with the Marcom team and drive to implementation while developing business with technology partners and establish a global marketing plan per region to support indirect sales channels.

Specific Duties:
*Research, classify and maintain market size data
*Prepare -customer ready- presentations on assigned products
*Provide basic product demonstrations
*Create product trainings and promotions for the Sales team
*Partner with the Solutions Marketing organization to ensure proper marketing of products, contribution of the business plan associated with set of market requirements for new product creation

Product Marketing Manager Qualifications:
*BA/BS degree or equivalent within Marketing, Business or a related function
*5+ years experience in a Product Marketing role
*Good understanding of the broadcast industry and Video IT technology and software with an in-depth knowledge of file based video production operations
*Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategy and implementing the strategy to achieve pre-set objectives as determined by the product marketing plan
*Very strong written communication skills and the ability to present effectively and persuasively at all levels
*Excellent people skills and the ability to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
