Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER for its Gresham, OR facilityThe Operations (Megasys) Manager supports the Air Products on-site services at a Megasys customer site in Gresham Oregon. The Manager must plan, organize, motivate, and control the operations of a Megasys site to safely and economically support the customer by being an integral part of the customers process/operations. The scope of work involves hazardous production materials used to manufacture wafers. MegaSys is responsible for gas container logistics, gas delivery equipment maintenance and projects associated with gas delivery equipment. Five technicians provide 24x7 coverage. The manager must focus on safety, cost effectiveness, emergency preparedness, facility systems uptime/quality and daily customer interface. Must provide high level of technical support related to onsite gas and chemical systems. Administrative duties include but are not limited to time card approval, weekly reporting, training, site level MOC review/approval, safety permitting review/approval, in-house audits, quality system management and implementation.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:-3-5 years experience with gas and/or chemical systems in an ultra high purity operation-Associates degree or other formal training in electronics, engineering, or gas/chemical environment.
