High level project description: Embedded Pre-Si phone platform with SW test and development support Job Description:

• Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software.
• Determinescomputer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
• Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
• Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal software process.

Candidate should also have following qualifications:

• 2+ years of expertise with various scripting languages (python, Perl, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with writing databases SQL queries
• Windows/C#/.NET programming experience
• 2+ years web development (HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET)
• 2+ years of experience with writing device drivers Requirements:
• Demonstrated expertise in software test automation development
• Strong background in C/C++/C#, Python, Perl, and Shell scripts
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance and systems validation
• Strong understanding of test methodology and software developmentintegration cycle
• Strong experience with scrum and agile software development methodologies
• Knowledge of web development using HTML, JavaScript and ASP.NET
• Knowledge of writing database SQL queries
• Familiarity with testing embedded software on Linux Android/Windows/iOS platforms
• Familiarity with windows/Linux/android and driver development
• Familiarity with smartphones and tablets - Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to multitask, manage details, and keep sight of overall objectives.

Daily Responsibilities:

• HW/FW/SW system installation and bring-up
• BKC build and testing tasks
• Small script development for automation and testing purposes
• Assist in web portal creation and web page testing
• Knowledge of SQL queries
• HW rework and debug
• Attention to detail
• Clear communication

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
C-Advanced
SQL Device Driver Dev Python/PHP- Advanced
