Controller at Boring

Job Description

Our client is currently hiring a Controller. 

 

We are looking for someone with strong GAAP knowledge and business acumen, but also experience in smaller companies.  The Controller wears many hats and must be able to handle variety and switch gears smoothly. 

 

Must have experience with:

• Monthly close and financial reporting for a full company
• Development of budgets and forecasting
• Banking and Financing responsibilities
• Oversight of all Accounting Operations
• Review of AP, AR, PR and some administrative functions
• HR and Benefits
• Supervision of small staff
• Direct advice to management as it to relates to the financial decisions and health of the organization

 

Requirements

• You must have a BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPAs welcome but not required
• Clean background check, drug screening, and driving record
• Preference given to those with good longevity in their background
• Preferred experience in industries such as: Capital Equipment Manufacturing, Distribution, or a Company that supplies Heavy Equipment Services to their clients.  Auto considered.
