Information Security Analyst (Compliance Monitoring) at Beaverton

Seterus, Inc. is seeking an Information Security Analyst who will have responsibility for an assigned area within a particular skill group. Implements new business methods, processes and/or office systems. Analyzes/evaluates/modifies/and improves existing methods/processes and/or procedures. Determines the effect of objectives and future planning and the most efficient, least costly but quality driven way to accomplish the assignment.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Functions:
The InfoSec Analyst for Compliance Monitoring will be responsible for the hands on daily management, evaluation, and reporting of Seterus Information Security compliance. This role is also responsible for root cause analysis and statistical trend analysis and reporting for detected non-compliant states. As a member of the InfoSec Technology Oversight Team, the InfoSec Analyst is responsible for interacting and communicating with other departments, across all locations, to help ensure the best possible provisioning and deployment experience for the customer.

May instruct, train, and assist department members in operational matters. Makes presentations to management relative to assigned area.

Uses specialized knowledge to identify, evaluate, resolve various interrelated often complex problems. Recommends improvements to established procedures and processes. Develops, refines or updates various operating procedures as required. Following management guidance and direction, may have considerable latitude in planning and assigning work and workload of individuals within the department, in pursuit of achieving the departments objectives.

Contribution/Leadership:
Responsible for a broad variety of tasks and interrelated processes within well established procedures. Provides technical assistance. Demonstrates leadership by coordinating the work of others or as a team member and to set work schedules individually or as a team member. Progress is monitored as required. Interfaces with related teams/departments to resolve technical/operational issues and/or provides guidance.

Impact on Business/Scope:
Accountable for individual results and for the impact of the results on the team, interrelated tasks or processes. Output directly impacts management considerations and decisions. May directly or indirectly impact customer satisfaction.

Required
High School Diploma/GED
At least 5 years experience in computing and information security, including experience with Internet technology and security issues
Basic knowledge in risk analysis and compliance testing, application vulnerability assessments, network penetration testing, and InfoSec policy development
Readiness to travel 25% travel annually
English: Fluent
