Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek Engineering is seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Manager role. Our client is a Civil Engineering firm with projects in water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation.Job Description:You will collaborate with a talented group of professionals in an open and friendly work environment, wherepersonal and professional growth is supported and hard work is rewarded. You will enjoy a wide variety of interesting CAD assignments for water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation projects including:- Supervising a CAD department of 5 or more technicians- Managing workload across offices and ensuring a consistent quality of deliverables- Collaborating with others in developing and maintaining CAD standards and operations- Developing design drawings, plan sheet productions, as-built drawings, and planning figures- Collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teamsRequirements:- Experience with AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Civil 3D (2010 or higher preferred), with a clear understandingof Civil 3D styles and functionality- A minimum of 2 years experience managing CAD operations for a civil engineering consulting firm
