Business Analyst at Beaverton

Job Description

Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a Business Analyst in Beaverton, Oregon (OR).The nature of the work is focused on the companys computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information.Responsibilities:
  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements within a single function
  • Refine requirements to include UI, reporting and/or decision support requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate the translation requirements into technical solutions with IT resources
  • Support end-user training through preparation and delivery of training course and materials
  • Support testing activities including construction of test plans/scripts including the expected results, test execution, validation of test results, facilitation of User Acceptance Testing, and communicate status of deliverables
  • May manage small size project
  • Communicate system changes to the business
  • Translate business goals and objectives into projects (P3)
  • Consults on issue resolution, triage, and troubleshooting
  • Analyze and document business processes, study/research new process requests, and create processes flow diagrams
  • Works closely with business users to determine business requirements and translate them to system requirements
  • Creates documentation of gathered requirements to convey future-state design of technologies and processes (Business Requirements Document)
  • Responsible for developing test conditions and support during test execution (SIT, UAT)
  • Supports training by developing required user guides and may serve to deliver material
  • Maintains consistent communication with business community to keep stakeholders apprised of project status

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Full lifecycle global payroll implementation preferred
  • Exposure to SAP (PA)
  • Experience with Time and Labor management systems: implementation and/or support role
  • Have had experiences in supporting the development of training material of delivered technologies and business processes
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Works well independently to contribute toward team success
  • Organize work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience. Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs
