Aerotek E&E is currently seeking a licensed PE with HVAC design experience for a long term, full time position in the Milwaukie, OR area. This is an immediate opening.
Candidates must have prior experience designing HVAC systems in AutoCAD 2012 and must hold a PE license in Oregon. PE license in Washington as well is desirable.
Candidates must understand building / energy codes and SMACNA regulations
Must be capable of performing load calculations, Sizes and selects equipment, determines equipment locations, sheet metal duct design and sizing, selects controls, grille selection and placement and piping as required in order to accurately create project drawings.
This position is also responsible for meeting with architects, owners, general contractors and the project sales person on an as needed basis to help determine and design the best possible building system.
