Your accountabilities

• Ability to work a variety of shift schedules
• Perform general cleanup
• Operate D-5 Cat and Bobcat
• Manage fuel and boiler waste products
• Perform boiler chemical analysis
• Operate boiler related equipment
• Operate boilers
  • Proper steam demands
  • Steam and water pressure systems
  • Boiler functions in power outage
  • Fuel mixtures
  • Conveying systems / fuel management
  • Environment permit compliance

Your qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and highly self-motivated individual
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals & passing tests as required
• Mechanical aptitude to work on machinery
• General math skills for chemical analysis
• General understanding of chemical safety
• To operate boilers
  • Understanding of fuel dryer and fuel conveying systems
  • Experience with computer control and monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of basic flow, RPM, PSI, and GPM
  • Competent at appropriate boiler record keeping
  • Exhibit level headed & proper procedure during upset conditions
  • Complete all TPC requirements (Validated as a qualified Inside Power House Boiler Operator. Expectation is at 18 months to be qualified and task certified)
