Compensation: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour

Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Skill in dealing with the public with patience and courtesy both inperson and on the telephone to provide specialized assistance or explain requirements in a clear and accurate manner, particularly in the field of health insurance. Skill in performing computerized work that involves communicating with a variety of people on the telephone to exchange or provide information. Ability to learn specific agency programs or operations affecting assigned work. Ability to prioritize work and maintain an adequate work flow under pressure. Skill in typing or keyboarding of a level to capture pertinent data during
the course of interaction with customers without delaying call response times. Will be handling a high volume of calls, usually leveraging an auto-dialer system. Performs data entry, maintains customer databases and logs calls. Excellent communication, customer service and alphanumeric data entry skills are required.
